Rail traffic between Ariano Irpino and Benevento has been suspended by order of the Infrastructure Manager due to a technical failure on the line since the March 12, 2024.
Italo trains 8140 and 8141 are cancelled from the March 25, 2024 to the April 7, 2024.

Between Bari and Benevento, Italo trains 9928, 9952, 9915 and 9939 are cancelled from the March 25, 2024 to the April 7, 2024. A shuttle bus service has been set up.

Rete Ferroviaria Italiana foresees the re-opening of the line on April 8, 2024.
The Italo service will be gradually restored, more precisely:
• Italo 9928 and 9939 will be running regularly starting on April 8, 2024;
• Italo 9915 and 9952 will remain partially cancelled between Benevento and Bari and viceversa from April 8 to April 13, 2024 and they will resume the service regularly starting on April 14, 2024;
• Italo 8140 and 8141 will remain cancelled from April 8 to April 13, 2024 and they will resume the service regularly starting on April 14, 2024.
